You’re a Freak and I Love You

Cropped t-shirt/ASOS, skirt/Oasis

I had a little (online) shopping spree last week, and picked up this cropped t-shirt from ASOS. Its in a bigger size so its a bit longer, but I’m still not quite comfortable in it. This week has been much quieter than last – but I’ve still been busy with new little side projects. Oh, and watching Pretty Little Liars too much – I worked my way through the 9 books in a few days. I know they are classed as “Young Adult” books, and some people are a little snobby about them, but I really enjoyed the books – sometimes you want something thats easy to read.

Today I should be clearing up after our BBQ yesterday but *yawn* I’d rather nap or read. Lazy Sundays ftw!

Love You Like A Love Song

Dress: Dorothy Perkins*

New favourite dress. I bought this last week, and since then have worn it far too much. I can’t be the only person who does that! I haven’t bought any new clothes really since last November, so its nice to be able to find things I like! In fact, I ended up ordering the coral version* yesterday online – if you like the Dorothy Perkins Facebook page, you’ll get a code for 15% off, and its free delivery until Monday if you spend £40 or more*. Yesterday I had to get measured again for new bra’s – I went to House of Fraser and wasn’t really that impressed with the selection in the size they measured me at, ended up spending £90 on 3 bras. Sigh. I think I’m going to try out Boux Avenue, since I found 3 bra sets there for £25 in total. Anyone ordered from them before?

My links this week are a bit animal themed!

I have so so much to post, and so little inclination – any tips on how to give myself a kick up the bum?!

In My Naive Way, I Love Them

So this is the dress I posted earlier in the week. I don’t know. I’m still undecided on it – especially after seeing these photos – but thank you so much for the comments on the post. This is why I love the blogging ~*community*~ and hopefully this week, I’ll be able to show you guys something that I hope will benefit everyone!

Today we are at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) – I’ve not been to an air show in years, but it will be interesting to see the planes there, especially since they are vaguely (very vaguely!) connected to what I do at work. Working in finance, its difficult sometimes to relate the numbers on a spreadsheet to a physical product.

A few videos I’ve liked this week:

This video of a guitar being played was made on an iPhone4. The way that it records video is why it looks like the strings vibrate in this way, but still pretty cool

Sesame Street did a sketch on 30 Rocks. Jack looks far too much like the real Jack!

How were your weeks?
