Happy 8 years together, @aghowells! This year has been crazy (married and moved around the world within 6 months!) but there’s no one else I would want to do it all again with!

The view from our hotel suite in London. We stayed at @langham_london in December last year, which is just at the top of Regent Street, opposite BBC Broadcasting House. The day we arrived, there was terrible storms, and the wind howled around our windows on the top floor. But it was all worth it for that view!

Sadly, we had to let Fern move on to the great fields in the sky on Monday. She was 13 years old and Alex had owned her since she was a few months old. We’re all pretty sad over here (including the springers!) but we know she had a good life. Goodbye little Pig, you were a very good (and funny) little pupper.

A year since this view! It’s weird to think we’ve been here a year now but it’s been one of the best years (despite having to relearn how to do anything)It’s still the best decision we ever made and I would do it all again (maybe not the skiing though)
