Looking forward to increasing this collection tomorrow…mostly
On the first day of the Somme, 19,240 people died. This exhibit on College Green has individual statues to represent those people. Today I think about how thankful I am to not have to go to war, how grateful I am to those who serve and hope no others do in the future.
Sadly, we had to let Fern move on to the great fields in the sky on Monday. She was 13 years old and Alex had owned her since she was a few months old. We’re all pretty sad over here (including the springers!) but we know she had a good life. Goodbye little Pig, you were a very good (and funny) little pupper.
This garden! This week has been spent hacking it down a bit to make it a bit tidier so we can spend more time outside…so obviously it’s overcast for the first time in a month. Still, at least the weather being overcast means I can get on with blogging!
