HtCC – Spring Dresses

As soon as the weather turns even the slightest bit sunny and warm, I have to put my favourite floral dresses on. Theres something about spring that makes me want to dress like a garden and drink tea out of beautiful tea cups. Here are a few dresses that I need in my wardrobe now (please, thanks)

These three dresses are from AX Paris*, a site that I’ve not actually looked at that much before, but I love the dresses above – especially the middle butterflies dress. Its not the sort of thing I’d usually wear but I really like that style at the moment.

I love this dress from Oasis. I have quite a few dresses already in a similar shape, and although I think the neckline could do with being a bit lower (because high necks on me just end up giving me a boob shelf), I love the pattern for being so bright!

Another brand that I haven’t really looked at recently is Matalan. I know they’ve been increasing the stuff that they do with bloggers, which is probably why I even looked at their site – I’ve not shopped there since the days when you needed a membership card (I think you had to have a limited company as well to get the card, truly old school!) Both of these dresses are only £25, and come in sizes up to size 18 – brilliant!

Another dress in a familiar shape, this time from Monsoon! I know what suits me (well, mostly) and this does! The pattern on this one is very English countryside-y – does that make sense?

OK, now I need to go and sit on the patio, drink tea and eat cucumber sandwiches and scones. Its odd what looking at dresses can make you do!

(as previously noted many times, links with a * next to them are affiliate links.)

  1. I love your choices! Matalan have some lovely things in this summer, and I will have to investfate some of the others further. I do not have enough florals!
