It's been a while…Last week, Alex booked us in for our first date night in at least 2 and a bit years at Altura on Broadway – they do a tasting menu and each plate is as beautiful as the next. It's definitely a bit of a splurge, but since we've missed out on celebrating at least 4 birthdays, 2 job changes and 3 anniversaries since our last visit, it seemed like the right way to spend the day after Valentines! It's all so delicious, from the beginning to the affogato ending with the most delicious hot chocolate ever (honestly, I'd go over to Seattle just for this). If you're looking for a delicious special meal, you must check Altura out.
