12 years.
It’s been a weird year, Mum. Almost as weird as whatever is going on with your fringe. I wish you had been at our wedding and I know you would be reminding me about the Christmas we spent in Little Rock right now!
It is never easier, but this year is just a bit more bleh than usual.
People often ask if we plan on returning to the UK but when I can spend my lunchtime sitting with my feet in the lake playing with a pupper, it’s hard to find reasons to want to go

It’s been fairly quiet around here (even for me) but we bought a house and moved and I never want to move again because it is all terrible. Except for this. This is pretty amazing. (New house is beautiful, up on a hill but right by the lake, and has a wooded area where we saw a deer just chilling on Saturday night. Now I’m wondering if I need the bear proof bins because America…
