Subtle Hints…

xmas wishlist 2011

Whenever anyone has asked me what I want for Christmas (and actually, for my birthday as well), I just shrug. I don’t especially need anything (well, perhaps a new pair of GHD’s, as my almost 7 year old pair are a little dodgy on the wiring) but these are things I would quite like. My choice of things here is probably a good indication of things that I’d really like but can’t justify buying myself.

Since I know that Alex reads this (Conversation on Wednesday night: “Hey you blogged” “Yes, I do that sometimes. Wait, you follow my blog?” “Yeah, its a good way to see if you’re alive or not” “…er, you do know I schedule my posts?”), all the above, please, thanks, love yoooooooou!

Dress Up, Play The Game

I loved these images from a Stylist shoot a few months ago where Blythe dolls were dressed up in mini versions of designer clothes, and then posed in front of real places. Its a bit depressing when dolls are better dressed than I am.
(Click for huge versions)

Dress: Felder Felder, Bag: Burberry Prorsum, Shoes: Just Cavalli

Dress: Basso & Brooke, Bag: Chanel, Shoes: Manolo Blahnik

Left: Dress: Maria Grachvogel, Bag: Prada, Shoes: Sergio Rossi.

I love Blythe dolls, I’m fascinated by the world around the customisation of them as well. What do you think? Weird looking or gorgeous?

HtCC: My Wardrobe

Acne dress (£370) * Acne boots (£498) * Acne dress (£190) * Paul & Joe Sister dress (£243) * Paul & Joe Sister coat (£368) * Paul & Joe Sister dress (£155) * Mulberry Bayswater (£775) * Mulberry Postmans Lock boot (£475) * Mulberry Carter camera bag (£895) *

I’ve blogged about my-wardrobe before, it’s one of my favourite designer sites to perv over and make a shopping list as long as, well, at least 3 credit card limits.

In the image above are a few things I’d love from Acne, Paul & Joe Sister and Mulberry (of course) I’m especially in love with the purple Acne dress in the top right, it probably wouldn’t look that good on me, but oh so pretty. And would match my new handbag (coincidentally, the same colour and material as the Bayswater in the bottom left)

Sooooo….which one of you is going to buy me all this? I’m pretty sure you didn’t get me a birthday present…
