Lazy When I Walk

Dress: Primark | Jumper: Clothing at Tesco | Shoes: USC | Necklace: Primark

Lazy lazy day today – actually, just a lazy week all around! We hit Yo Sushi again on Friday with some work colleagues – that 40% off voucher is just too good to resist. This weekend has been about working my way through this stack of books and playing way too much Triple Town.

Why Do You Wear So Much Purple?

Dress: F&F | Boots: USC | Necklace: Claires

Last weekend I walked to the retail park near me (well, its easier to walk to than to walk into the centre of Bristol from here!) and bought a few dresses from the Tesco Home store we have. (The Tesco thats closer has such a rubbish clothes department!) I would order things from the Clothing at Tesco website, but their sizing is so wonky – I ended up buying two dresses in a size 20 – I’m normally a 14/16 (depending on the store)

This dress is so comfy, although would be better if it were a little more fitted. There were some photos I took where it looked a bit tent like :/ Not a look I go for by choice!

I headed up to Tart yesterday to meet Emsy for tea and gossip, then we headed down Gloucester/Cheltenham Road to visit all the shops we pass on our ways to work – finally going in to Portabella (who have some gorgeous dresses!), another visit to Cox and Baloney next door, Shop Dutty (which is also the home of Boom Nails, who you’ve probably heard of from all the Motel event posts!)

Most exciting part of the wander down Stokes Croft? Finally being able to stop at Patisserie Leila and buy some macarons.  Blackberry, lemon, pistachio, raspberry and coconut. YUM.

Everyone Takes Turns, Now Its Yours To Play The Part

Jumper and skirt: Clothing at Tesco.

I bought these…wow, a year ago? Looking back at that post, I realise how different those pictures on the Tesco website are to these items. The skirt is a LOT shorter than it appeared online, and the jumper looked nicer in the lighter grey. I need some new clothes really, but am feeling so ~*uninspired*~ by the usual websites and shops. Any recommendations? (Or would anyone like to come shopping with me and make me buy stuff?!)

The comments in my last post were really awesome too, seems like most people were recommending M&S for high street tights, so I’ll have to pop along there this week after work. Until then, I must remember to Superman more often (thanks Sarah for educating me on that term last weekend!)

Yesterday I headed over to Bath to see Ally (whos new blog you should all check out, like, right now) for a bit of shopping, some delicious espressos at Colonna and Smalls and lunch at The Canary Tea Rooms – yum!
