Why are pirates called pirates? Because they arrrrr!

Today is International Talk Like A Pirate Day, or as I like to think of it “That day that everyone tries to speak like a Bristolian”. (I love the Brizzle accent!) Heres a few things that I spotted that you might need to be a pirate!

The easiest way to dress up would be to buy this pirate costume, but where’s the fun in that?

If you prefer not to be a skanky ho pirate, then why not get a Captain’s Hat, Hook, Eyepatch and Cutlass and make your own costume?

Everyone knows and loves the Pirates Of The Caribbean Trilogy and its less than £11 for all three movies. Bargain!

Any good pirate likes a good drop of rum, and I love this image of the Pusser’s Nelson’s Blood Flagon Dark Rum. (I’m more of a gin girl myself) If rum’s not your thing, why not have some Chocolate Pirates.
