They're about the same in the realism stakes. Plus it's really annoying when people are all, "Oh, am I the only one not to care about (insert popular cultural phenomenon here)" and trying to position themselves in an anti-popular too-individual-to-follow-the-masses sort of thing. No, you're not the only one. You're in good company with all the anti-populists. How is Gossip Girl almost realistic and Sex and the City not? They’re about the same in the realism stakes. My usual cinema companions are my son (who likes cars and gadgets in his films) and my girlfriend (who likes Zombies and Shane Meadows) so I don't think I'll be off to see it somehow. Having said that, I've a morbid fascination for the fun the tabloids have had comparing the actress's real life faces and their airbrushed promo material ones!
