If you’re reading this, then you probably want to know a bit more about me. Except I have no idea what to actually say here, so erm…lets see.
My name is Hayley. I’m 31 and I’m originally from Chester, England. I went to university in Aberystwyth, Wales (its surprising to me how many people don’t know where Aber is. It’s pretty much straight across from Birmingham on the Welsh coast.) I studied Business Finance, which was essentially accounting and finance and economics. Not many people took this subject which is why no one has a clue what I mean when I say what I did! I work in accounts, which I know most people think is lame, but to me it just makes sense. (If you’re interested, this is my LinkedIn page.)
I currently live in Bristol, with my boyfriend Alex, and our dogs, the sock obsessed kleptomaniac cocker spaniel, Fern and the dramatic teenage springer spaniel Jill. They have their own blog. I know. Bristol is such an awesome city, there is so much to see and do here, and its so handy to get to places like London. I sometimes review Bristol places on Bristol52.
My blog is basically lots of things I like. I’m a bit rubbish at updating it, because I (try to!) write daily over at Bonjour, Blogger! which is a website aimed at helping out other bloggers make their website amazing. The irony is not lost on me. I have been blogging since 2001, which makes me ancient in blog terms.
I love a good cup of tea and a nice cake. I obsess over kitchen gadgets, Mulberry handbags and technology. I use Twitter far too much. I can easily be tempted to take part in a Singstar session (I’m queen of Raparoke), drink a gin and tonic and wear a lovely dress.
I think that’s enough about me for now – how are you?
